Review of Barrow Valley Roofing

My neighbour got some lad in from outside the county for her ridge tiles and honestly the state of it — half them were loose again within months! Went with Paddy after a friend's recommendation and the difference is night and day! Tiles are solid, everything looks tidy, and the price was fair for what you're getting. Only thing is communication was a bit slow at the start — but once the lads arrived they were deadly! Would absolutely use them again!

My neighbour on the Tullow Road had a crowd in last spring who left the ridge tiles loose and charged her a fortune into the bargain. I was nervous enough after hearing that, but a friend from the parish mentioned barrow valley roofing and I gave Pat a ring. Two lads came out — I caught one of them was called Sean — and they were tidy and decent about the whole job. The only thing I'd say is the start date shifted by a few days, which matters when you're my age and you've family visiting. The roof itself has been solid since, and my grandchildren were over at Christmas with no draughts or leaks to worry about. This house has stood forty years and it should stand forty more now.

Shed roof replaced

We'd been meaning to get that shed sorted for the guts of four years. It's a big enough timber structure out the back — put it up ourselves years ago, more enthusiasm than skill at the time, and the felt roof had been giving up the ghost slowly ever since. Anyway, I asked around and barrow valley roofing came up more than once, so I rang Pat and that was that. Honest pricing, showed up when he said he would, left the place tidy. The only thing I'd say is communication mid-job was a small bit patchy — nothing that caused any bother in the end, just would've liked a heads-up on day two. But the roof itself is done right, it looks well, and I'd go back to them without hesitation for anything bigger on the house.

Gutter Repair Job

So so happy with how this went!! Called Pat on a Tuesday, quote came back by Thursday — absolutely straightforward, no messing. Booked in within two weeks. The lads arrived on time, did the full gutter repair in one day, left the place spotless after them ⭐. Only thing is the initial callback took a day longer than I expected, but honestly once they were on site it was seamless. Would absolutely use Barrow Valley Roofing again!! 🏠
